The second collaboration with Junichi Nakahara, a beloved artist who gained immense popularity in early Showa-era Japan!
This special Pullip was created to commemorate the exhibition “Junichi Nakahara and Dolls” held at the Yokohama Doll Museum.
The main outfit reproduces the illustration from the cover of the 1955 publication “Junichi Nakahara Blouse Collection.” The additional outfit is inspired by the “Nightwear and Pillow” feature from the 1956 magazine “Soreiyu.”
The doll’s distinctive makeup and beautifully tailored silhouette perfectly capture Junichi Nakahara’s elegant aesthetic. The large red ribbon hair accessory, full skirt, and vivid bouquet all create a strikingly graceful impression.
By letting down her hair and changing into the included outfit, you can recreate the “Nightwear and Pillow” illustration in Pullip form. Pair it with the music sheet and appliqué-style pillow cover to enjoy an even richer expression of Nakahara’s world.
Spend timeless moments with “Pullip / Daisy (Hinagiku)” and immerse yourself fully in the enchanting world of Junichi Nakahara.
Feeling: Dressed in a lovely blouse and a bright red skirt, I’m ready to go out for the day. When night falls, I’ll put on my favorite nightgown and drift to sleep while humming a song... Feel like so.
