To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Pullip, a special collaboration doll with the apparel brand “Angelic Pretty” has finally been released. Inspired by a festive “cake” motif, this special Pullip wears an irresistibly sweet outfit that perfectly suits this celebratory occasion.
For this collaboration, the doll was created based on an original costume design illustration drawn by the designers of “Angelic Pretty”. After numerous meetings and refinements, a dress was born that carries couture-level detail and craftsmanship—truly worthy of such a special doll.
The bonnet and dress feature several types of lace used luxuriously throughout. The layered lace creates a fluffy, creamy appearance—adorable and voluminous from every angle. As her name suggests, she looks just like a beautifully decorated cake. When seated, the skirt spreads out into a perfect circle, charming the hearts of all who see her.
The decorations are thoughtfully crafted down to the smallest details. The ribbon accents combine organza and grosgrain layers, with the organza printed in gold with the brand logo. The pearl-like brooch button at her neckline and the abundance of ribbons add elegant golden highlights, giving the doll an even more glamorous look.
Her wig features long, soft pink hair with ends curled like whipped cream. The makeup is also pink, matching her hair and outfit. Her sparkling eyes include a ribbon motif reminiscent of “Angelic Pretty”, while her eyelids feature delicate pink eyeshadow and fine lace-like patterns. Her creamy white eyelashes add a mystical and dreamy atmosphere.
As part of this collaboration, a matching dress designed by “Angelic Pretty” with the same concept was also released (orders have already closed). Differences such as long sleeves for the real clothing version and short sleeves for the doll, as well as various small design accents, make for delightful comparisons. How about enjoying a tea party dressed in a sweet outfit like a decoration cake?
